I want to investigate dropping and probably abuse the technique for transferring to kegs.

Does anyone do this or know any good reading on the subject?
 
Ok, I have had a google as never heard of it -- Don't know if its worth it..

If you transfer to keg a few days before fermentation is complete you will need to handle the kegs like their fermenting , temp etc.. before you can chill and put on gas etc.. is that worth it .. maybe to you
 
I thought it was kind of just a process to help rouse the yeast and add oxygen where it’s a particularly flocculent strain with high oxygen demands.

Danger is always that you don’t do it early enough and end up oxidising the beer.
