Does this water additions level look ok?

I’m doing an imperial stout so chose dark/London Porter target profile on brewers friend. I couldn’t get the levels spot on using my tap water and targeting this London profile but do these screenshots look ok? This was as close as I could get my profile and the target profile.
Btw I don’t know if London Porter target profile was best to choose but I couldn’t see any other profiles which had stout in the title.

Anyone? The reason I’m doubting myself here is the 10g bicarb I’ve added to get the levels better suited to the target profile but tbh I’m not sure if this is way too much? I dont want to be tasting bicarb!
Should I bother with the additions?

Looks like you have exactly the same tap water as me if yours is the one with 265 HCO3. If you’re aiming for that then it’s odd because I always just use CRS to remove the temporary hardness and it works fine for me. It bumps up chloride and sulphate and reduces the carbonate.

Shame I can’t just send you 30l of my tap water. But your target profile looks ok for a stout, you won’t taste the baking soda. Interesting that it does add quite a bit of salt though which you might not want.

There’s no other way of me getting close to the target profile though is there without the salts? Unless I’m missing something? I’ve only ever added salts to my last beer which was a hefe weiss but didn’t need much salts to get desired target.

I think you have it right to be honest. I’m no expert in water treatment but your achieved water profile with the additions should suit an imperial stout better than your soft source water.

Yeah I mean I’m not after getting it perfect- if I was I would be using RO water or distilled water etc. I’m only after improving my tap water to a more reasonable level for different styles. Thanks for the advice, hopefully some others can chime in with more opinions…🤞

I’ve had a tinker on Brewfather app, It seems allot more straightforward that brewers “friend”.
I’ve attached a screenshot and if anyone could point out any mistakes I may have made please I’d be so grateful!
