Does the beer bottle make a difference in carbonation ?

I recently made a Bulldog brew lager kit, and since it was my 2nd batch of brew that I made recently there was a mix of bottles I used.
Birra Mappelli 500ml bottles and Effes 500ml bottles each with a Mangrove Jacks carbonation drop in each bottle.
However the smaller dumpy bottles of Effes seem to have more froth when pouring compared to the slimmer taller Mappelli bottle. So the question is, does the bottle make a difference in carbonation ?

Interesting question, don't have a clue ! Maybe they make a difference to the pour (not the carbonation itself)

Yes, possibly. The efes ones could be creating turbulence when pouring, plus a huge amount of other factors. Might also be slightly different volumes, headspaces etc. loads of things

Does the distribution of the dissolved sugar matter in the end? The sugar will all dissolve over time and the yeast will ferment all the priming sugar you add and the resulting co2 will be evenly distributed throughout the beer by convection/diffusion.
Or are you meaning that the time it takes to achieve carbonation is affected by the distribution of the dissolved sugar?

Are you sure? I always thought carbonation drops are sugar. If so the yeast will find 'em wherever they are. I do think mixing is not an issue.
