I don't think they ever actually called it spring water, but yes.Is that when Coca Cola were bottling London water in Sidcup factory and calling it spring water.
You didn’t have to pay? I have to use my card when I go, it’s 3.5p/l I think.Thought I'd follow up with some feedback on Spotless water. I arrived, filled up my brewbucket with 10litres water (as i was just diluting my tap water) Couldn't see any fluff or dead skin in it. Didn't have to pay. I tested it when i got home and it had zero alkalinity. (or as good as zero)
Worked for me, and i will be using it for future soft brews
Obs carbonates and salts to any profile desired. It’s only marked as not fit for consumption as it has no salts in and would kill you if you drank a lot of it, you would RO into the RO!
If you are inexperienced, you might not have the necessary knowledge, scales and minerals.Think I may may have said this in another thread... Isn't acid addition easier, and pop in a few brewing salts?

If you are experienced and have an up to date water analysis, then go for it.
If you don't have a water analysis then as I said I'd start with spotless and add the necessary salts.
It is very cheap. (If you have an outlet close to you).
I thought about that, but I do actually boil my wort ! That's when I sanitize my chiller.. And speak quietly else the sanitizer police will be down on you too
