Hello brewing at the moment its been 2 weeks and been stuck at same position for a week, was brewing the other week when we had the hot weather for a few days and was 30oc in shed.. Thinking heat may have killed yeast??
Have tried stirring brew etc
If i bottle this will it still carbonate if the yeast is dead?

if its dead..it cannot prime and carbonate a bottle, Its like the Parrot, dead finito kaput nix deceased and passed over,

Took reading been stuck for a week, its showing about 3.5 % beer is VERY cloudy / murky, tastes ok smells ok

Take a sample from the FV, put it into a clean, sanitised, jar, add sugar, seal with summat like cling film, if it starts to ferment then the yeast is alive and you'll get fizz when you bottle it :)

From what I've read, here, wiki, other brewinng sites, fermenting at >26 degrees C wil lead to 'odd' flavours and fusel alchohol (give you a bad hang over) so be prepared for a less than brilliant pint :(

good idea... other idea was to stick it in a pressure barrel and add co2 if needed.... its a lager though so cant see it being cold enough to chill barrel outside for a while :/
