That is an opinion you can take for yourself but please do not take it for me.In my opinion you can not be a sub-contactor for a company and be totally impartial

Yes I did say that. I have also given other systems my thumbs up. The Bulldog systems I have tested are totally inaccurate when it comes to temperature. One moment they show 65 on the screen and it is 70 and the next time it will be something else.Yeah I think we've all been on the dark side at sometime just some darker than others. Oh and just got this reply back from David Heath in the last hour on his thoughts on the system I bought "Oh dear. The Ace? Is that the same as the Bulldog? If so yes I did cover it and I said why it is junk" so there you go on him rubbishing other systems while in the time he has been accused of co- habitating with GF. His actual words
Thank you David. Nobody gave me anything, be sure to know that. Yes, there were afew products I was sent before release for testing and evaluation. I made this clear in those videos of course. It is quite normal for test units to be sent to various people one after the other.Watched many of DH's video's including the one from yesterday, either way if it's an honest video or a slight of hand in covering up his business dealings, who really cares, if someone gave me a grainfather and asked me to make video's whilst using it, I would probably do the same. It's a cynical world we are residing in, so who really knows. One way of measuring the significance of events like this is to measure it against the serious events happening today. This just seems like people gas bagging for no real reason. there thats my 2 cents worth of gas.
.The number one competitor for the Grainfather worldwide is the Robobrew/Brewzilla (and it cost half the price) and David Heath gave it a favourable review in a side-by-side comparison. So, if he's a paid shill for GF he's not very good at it.
It would seem he has upset a part of the home brew community by not admitting he worked for them and therefore his reviews have to be biased i guess they have a point but has anyone ever bought (or not bought) a system on the advice of one person on a youtube channel if they have they need their heads read.
Thank you, much appreciated. Yes, 99% see it for what it is. I never gave out my professional brewing qualifications either before, I just wanted to let the content speak for itself. Since I released those they even tried to discredit that also! Hopefully they will find someone else to hate soon!Welcome to the forum David, due to not having an all in one system or the intention of buying one i haven't watched many of your videos but think Pint Inspector has it spot on here -

So don't let the 1% wear you down. The internet will be the internet. Honestly, I don't think people could give two hoots.
I bought a GF because general consensus that it was a good piece of equipment - that was reinforced partly by your channel of course. Do I feel cheated because of some connection you previously had to GF? Not at all, because it is a good piece of equipment. That would be a different matter if it were a heap of ****.
The only thing you have directly influenced me to buy is a small stainless steel sieve.
So crack on with living and put this to one side. Personally, and I say this in good faith, I think it would be a little classier if you didn't feel the need to keep defending yourself - you've made your point and people will either accept that or not. The 1% will stay the 1% but the more this goes on, the more it could become 2%.

Thank you. I did actually give appropriate disclaimers on any review videos, not that I make many of these.David, I think it is totally out of order for you to be receiving levels of abuse that you feel the need to be reporting it to the police and you do seem to have contributed a fair amount to the home brewing community but to claim there is no apparent conflict of interest, whether conscious or not, shows naivety. There is a reason that people in their professional lives are often required by law to disclose these kinds of associations or are banned from receiving items of even low value. A simple clear disclaimer upfront might have headed all this off.
Thank you, I only found out about this thread today and wanted to set the record straight :)Good to see you here David

Great to hear, much appreciated. I have a video that will be out on Sunday about how to balance your brews to your own taste.I started brewing several months ago and I’d like to thank you as your videos were very helpful. I’ve now a bohemian Pilsner which is a mix between your recipe and one I was sent from Weyermann just put another batch into my beer fridge for several weeks, although it tasted good enough to drink today !-)
I used your reviews plus many others before I decided to buy my GF, keep up the good work
Feel free to post your videos here and take part in the forum we don't judge anyone here (well most don't)
