It does but on lockdown many were not getting enough sun.
Someone mentioned talking vitamin D would not help stop us getting Covid well having watched this when it all kicked off I decided to take it and still am.

What does impacts significantly mean? I had thought that vit D was produced naturally in the skin by sunlight and that the increased susceptibility to covid among people with darker skins was due to a deficiency of this vitamin. I had also believed that vit D was one of the factors contributing to a good immune system. Is that not the case?
I never thought that anyone was suggesting that vit D could be used as a treatment for covid.
This is quite a minefield but basically Vit D is essential for an optimum immune response across the board but is not the only factor.
The problem appears to be that there are several studies showing a casual relationship and roughly an equal number showing no significant effect.
But yes, some people have proposed it to be a treatment and a preventative measure. It’s interesting that roughly this time last year the government advice was to supplement those who may be deficient, especially in the darker winter months.

Thank you. That's a lot clearer than I thought it was going to be at first glance.
You’re welcome.
I’ll wait for the “experts” to tell us all why cycle threshold is a problem with SARS CoV-2 but not with influenza, for which it has been used for decades to identify infections.

And who will pay for that? Correct you and me (if I am back in a job by the)! I don't like the tories or politicians for that matter the world over BUT could any of the other done any better?
Yes others could and would have done better as they would not have handed contracts to their sponsors. Don't defend the undefendable.

I think i have mentioned this before about vitamin D. A few years ago I was at a training event with a professional cycle team. One of the team sponsors had arranged for a nutritionist to speak to us. Can't remember his name but had professor in the title and he had started numerous nutritional brands, I think he knew what he was talking about. He was talking about the importance of vitamin D and said British people will never get enough of it from the sun whilst living in Britain. Even though all the cyclists spend 90% of the year outside for prolonged periods, most came back needing vitamin D tablets/injections.

I have taken it ever since.

I saw this about it a while ago, skip to 10.30 for the relevant bit

I have no idea how true it is but this guy did call alot of things months before the government and MSM if you look at videos from Jan & Feb 2020 but also was advocating HCQ for ages which I think turned out to be a dud.

And just to stir up the pot a bit more . . . . . . I came across this reader's letter in the latest edition of New Scientist.

It's only one person's experience, and it won't in any way influence my thinking about the value of vaccination. But nevertheless it is interesting, and it begs the question - Is it the vaccine, or is it the test that could be at fault? . . . . . Let's hope that it is the antibody test that is unreliable for all of our sakes.

Under-30s in the UK are to be offered an alternative Covid vaccine to the AstraZeneca *** due to the evidence linking it to rare blood clots.
The recommendation comes after a review by the UK drugs regulator found that by the end of March 79 people had suffered rare blood clots after vaccination - 19 of whom had died.
The regulator said this was not proof the *** had caused the clots.
But it said the link was getting firmer.
The review by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) found:
  • The 79 cases and 19 deaths occurred after 20 million doses were administered - giving a risk of about four in one million of developing a blood clot
  • Nearly two-thirds of the cases of rare clots were seen in women
  • The people who died were aged between 18 and 79, with three of them aged under 30
  • All the recorded cases occurred after the first dose, although the lower number of second doses meant it was not possible to draw any conclusions from this
It comes as the EU's medicines regulator says unusual blood clots should be listed as a possible very rare side effect of the AstraZeneca ***, but that the benefits outweighed the risks. Some European countries have restricted the vaccine's use.

You realise he's being funded by the 5G companies to distract the media from finding out the truth about their efforts to control our brainwaves? By telling us about him, you're just helping disguise what's going on with 5G!
Nonsense, it’s a ruse to distract us all from the real truth, the earth is actually flat and ruled by an elite group of space lizards, ribbit.

Neither infections nor vaccinations guarantee that you will develop antibodies though - which is why the vaccines are not 100% effective (out immune systems are not 100% effective).

Apparently he’s an economist.
Not someone I’d expect to get reliable breaking medical info from.

How can the Earth be flat when the Tuatha Dé Danann, the teachers of all knowledge, wisdom and general druidism are inhabitants of a hollow Earth. Time for those lads to emerge again, methinks!

Before Covid it was a purely economics channel, but the guy who does the covid analysis has a PHD in toxicology. Here's there 1st one Jan 25 2020 when he calls to stop flights from China, later on the 4th Feb the WHO saya there is no reason to stop flights. It's quite boring so I wouldn't bother watching unless your very interested.
