I'm doing my first bottling day today and have read for the Cooper's stout kit I should use half a spoon of sugar in each bottle. I did however use black treacle in the FV so this affect it?

I'll get some pics up tonight but I want to do it right and not have wasted this sweet smelling beer sat next to me.

not sure how much that is, but the last coopers stout made i used 2.5g of brewing sugar per 500ml bottle, i use scales accurate to 0.01, worth geting a set only about £6, and a square of paper folded into a funnel

1/2 tsp per 500ml bottle will be just fine. Any sugar the treacle brought will have been converted by the yeast, how long was it in the FV and what was your OG & FG?
