I've read somewhere that its lager that may not need the too much time conditioning. I'm going to try a bottle after 3 weeks rather than the 4 I left my Coopers Aussie for.

Their Canadian is a very mild tasting brew and needs to be as clear as you can get it and drink very cold. In my partials days it was my favourite kit for adding extras to, as there's not much flavour in there to clash with anything! If you haven't bottled yet a good addition is 15g of Saaz hops made into hop tea and added a few days before bottling. Also half dextrose and half light spray malt is a good start instead of just the kilo of sugar.

I've done mine with dextrose, light spray malt and also some s-32 lager yeast. I've also seen US-05 dry ale yeast recommended for this kit and I'll probably give that a go when the weather starts to warm up again.

I was hoping for a little bit more taste, now I know what to expect.

As stated, I too have found the taste quite mild. What else did I expect though. :wha:

Not a bad brew, glad I've tried it. Still got a bit of that homebrew yeasty taste in there though. :?

I enjoyed it, as said quite a mild taste but thats how I like my lager. Will probably do again.

Last bottle left now. Glad I tried it, as with most, probably wouldn't bother again though. Not as good as European Lager kit from Cooper's.
