Just found these on ebay Containers just wondering if these would be a good alternative to fv as there quite abit cheaper

For that price I would be tempted to just give them a try!

What you got to lose?

Maybe try a cheap brew to start!

Ye u get 2 for less than the price of 1 fv :thumb:

You can even get taps to replace the lid tap

Would be a great way to store wine :thumb:

wouldnt bother with the tap jack as you would have to tip the container for it to work ... and loosen all your yeast off the bottom ! .... but those would do as a fv nicely :thumb: just would need to make sure you had a long handles brush to clean them out

Thanks everyone  Ye they look good i think ill get a couple of them :thumb:

I use these out in turkey for secondary FV's and they are fine and clean up ok too. MIne have taps on the bottom though so dont really have to syphon - but i have only fitted one of the tap so far and had no problems either way with them at all. :thumb:

got 2 of these .. came today .. seem strong little containers ... will be using them for cooling wort ( dont have chiller so use no-chill method )
