How long do you guys keep your freshly filled bottles in the warm before moving to somewhere cool. I've always kept mine in the house for a week then put them out to the shed.

Cheers

i only do kits lol, temp is usually around 18 - 20c in my house.
So around 2 weeks will be sufficient?

Thanks

I've been doing 2 weeks in the warm. As I'm using the PET bottles that came with my kit I can feel if they're properly carbonated by giving them a squeeze and they haven't been until the 2 week mark.

Really stupid question but I've bottled for the first time in PET bottles and they are in the warm now. What should I look for with a little squeeze? Bubbles rising in the bottle?

How it feels. I imagine they're pretty squishy now. By the time they're carbonated they'll be pretty rock hard, like a 500ml bottle of coke is.

Bottle will be hard/solid (pressurised) Like when you shake a coke or lemonade bottle it goes solid :thumb:

Edit Strongarm beat me :D

When you first bottle them you can squeeze the bottle slightly but as they 2nd carb out you won't be able to squeeze them that much ,if any really. Thats when you know the sugars been ate up again.

Nice one - thanks for your help everyone. It's obvious really but you've explained it well for me.
