co2 supply in Glasgow / Edinburgh

I called Express fuels: for that 6kg cylinder: ~£40 deposit + ~£18 refill... At first when I asked about c02 lady on the phone told me something between £6 and £7. But when I mentioned this is for a homebrew it jumped right up to £18 something. Is it good? Bad? I think that if someone stays in Glasgow and has no chance of going to Livingston or Edinburgh then there is no choice. But personally I prefer that Livingston offer :)
