Hi Folks
I took the plunge and have moved over to a (23l) Cornelius Keg. I am in the process of force carbonating my first batch.
I have the ODL premium regulator with soda stream attachment. I need to pop out to Lakeland and get my soda stream bottle refilled (swapped empty for full). It seems to cost £12 or thereabouts at all Sodastream outlets. I can see this getting pricey, so I am thinking of getting a 6.5kg CO2 bottle, rather than keep refilling sodastream cylinders.
Can anyone recommend a cellar gas supplier that operates in the Lakes?
Also, what’s the difference between CO2 used in welding and beer dispense? I assume there is a reason welding gas is cheaper for a reason.
many thanks
steve
