Having just finished my first brew kit, i have moved onto a lager kit, just trying different types for now :D
My question is - when doing the clean down and sanitize could i use 'miltons' sterlising fluid, you see we have a one year old crawling about, and i thought if i could use that i would save a few pennies ;) if it works for baby bottles it should work on kegs/pipes/taps/funnels/bungs etc?

Miltons is a complete Bstard to rinse, I would avoid it like the plague for beer

i agree with aleman, i used to use milton but dont any more. i just use a very weak bleach solution now and give it a good wash and the sanatise as normal. i leave my bottles in the sanatising solution for about 1/2 hooy the rinse and the use. the same as i do with my FV and all other equipment.
