It's basically a brown ale with some spices and the sugars were caramelized, so it's likely to be a lot darker than the SRM reading in beersmith. It's pretty strong, tastes a little like an aromatic, bubblegum fruit shortcake beer with a little sort of sandiness...but not in an off flavour way, that's just what we picked up!

There's 4 big bottles left (660ml,) the head was lacking because of the high sugar content but would this benefit with age or should I set about drinking it now we've had some snow? It just doesn't feel the same after christmas, I'm wondering whether to keep it for next year for the christmas warm up! or should that be chill down...
