Can you believe it - was going to make a gallon of WOW but tried two supermarkets and there was no grape juice!! I did find cherry juice though, which is 30% cherry and 70% grape. Bought two litres, going to try two litres of juice with 1kilo sugar and made up to a gallon with boiled water. Add yeast, nutrient, tannin and citric acid and see how it goes.

still no sign of grape juice in our local shops; however, the cherry wine is bloody lovely! Fermented out nicely, dropped almost clear on its own and is crystal clear after some finings, and we're drinking the last bottle now! I know you're meant to leave wine to mature but it's just so very moreish! Will be having a trip to T**co agains soon to get some more stuff :D

There's a massive Asda about 15 mins drive from here - I was there at the weekend (always a joy!) but neglected to look! However, I have a poorly child so just nipped out to Tesco to stock up on more calpol and whilst I was there, can you believe that four litres of cherry juice and two kilos of sugar somehow fell into the basket...... :D reckon if I put them on tomorrow they should have fermented out nicely by the time I get back off my easter holiday! :thumb:
