hi guys, hopefully im posting this in the correct section. im looking to order some of the chemsan but im concerned about the instructions regarding keeping your water at ph3. is this essiential if im diluting it and using it straight away (or within the hour) and then throwing it away? im not planning to keep it for later use or anything like that so im hoping that it will be fine but any advice would be greatly recieved.

cheers guys

In order for a sanitiser like this to be effective it has to be below pH 3. If mixed correctly to the right concentration then it should be but the only way to be sure is use a pH meter or test strips.

ok, is there a no rinse sanitser out there that doesnt have to be such a low ph as my tap water is around the 5 mark. or is there a process you would recomend to raise the ph so the sanatiser becomes effective ?

The sanitiser itself should be enough to take the pH below 3. Mix it up and then use a test to check.

oh really, thats great news then. im pretty ignorant when comes to these things, i didnt realise thats how these things work. thanks very much.
