2-0 up at half time and cruising. Ended up losing 4-2. Still reckon mid table awaits us this season, just need to keep going until the World Cup break and then start again with Stewart, Simms and Ballard all fit again.

My lot got a creditable draw at Chelsea we would have lost it last season. However if we had a striker who can score 20+ goals we would have won.

Simms and Ballard stolen from us! 😉

Game of the season yesterday at Bloomfield Rd! In fact I haven't enjoyed a game of football so much in years. Preston played really well but couldn't contain our attacking players. Yates now joint top scorer in the division, 6 in the last 4 games.

I went out to sample beers in Manchester city centre straight after the game, buzzing.

Even in the 0-0 between us earlier this month, there was a second half spell of about 20mins where we didn’t really know how to handle Yates. He’s looking a very good Championship player

Can I just say I wish I hadn't started this thread now. Appleton Out! 😆

I knew it wouldn't last :coat:

That’s some turnaround of managers in the division. This season - Stoke, Huddersfield, Cardiff, Watford, Hull, Boro and now WBA all sacked their managers in the first 13 games, plus Sunderland and Rotherham managers moved to other clubs.
Cardiff have done it again on Saturday. 9 games without a win, just above the relegation zone and no signs that we can improve.
I'm not enjoying this season.

Well it seems like eons ago when, on 22nd October, I was posting on here about how QPR were top of the league. Now we are back to our more familiar 16th spot after just one win in our last 16 games and out of both cups at the hands of Charlton Athletic and Fleetwood Town. I can only say I’d snatch your hand off if you offered us 16th come May!

My team QPR need a miracle to stay up now. Needed to win tonight to be in with any chance I think. We are only outside the drop zone because Luton got a late equaliser against Reading. We are away to Burnley on Saturday 😬
