Hey guys,

Can you help me or offer advice?

I have completed my first brew, which was a Coopers Larger, all done as per instructions and bottled in 330ml glass bottles with one coopers carb drop.
left to second ferment for two weeks at 20oC and then put outside in the shed for conditioning, this happened on Wednesday this week.
I thought i would crack one open last night and was slightly dissappointed with the carbonation, there was some, but not a lot, with little to no head!

Is there anything i can do, or will conditioning help?

Cheers

I drop for each 330ml is enough to carbonate . You say the beer was at 20c , how do you know this ? I would suggest bringing them back into the warmth for longer . Open a bottle after another week before moving into cold to check if done .

If you only moved them into the cold on Weds and posted this on Fri, that's not long enough for the CO2 to be absorbed into the beer.

I'd go with what the others have said, bring them back in the warm for a bit longer, but then store them for at least 2 weeks in the cold before cracking one open. Patience is your friend, especially with lager - I'm trying not to touch mine for 3 months

I think my first one only lasted 3 weeks too! If you brew more than you drink, you'll build up a backlog which you can leave to mature.

I read somewhere to wait a day per point of starting gravity, so sg 1.040 means 40 days.
