Cara...??

Hello all
The beer I tried last night..Bad Co. Milkshake IPA listed Cara 10 as one of the ingredients...can't seem to find it? I thought it might be a light crystal but one of their others had the Cara 10 and a light crystal..

Whilst, i believe cara malts and crystal malts arent EXACTLY the same I think there're so close in taste as to make no difference. So you should be fine with light crystal/crystal 10. Have a gander at this for a bit of an idea

Ah yes...thanks both. The Cara 10 is the lightest where the "light" crystal starts at 40...

For Cara 10 you could use use carapils or carahells, they're basically just different brand names for a 10L crystal malt.
