Hi All
I'm currently based in Melbourne but I'm moving back to blighty in Feb next year. I'm currently in the process of sorting out a container to bring all my stuff home. I have a kegerator I want to bring home along with a c02 canister. It turns out though, its a bit of a pain getting gas canisters through customs. For simplicity I thought I would sell my c02 canister in Oz and buy a new one in the UK. Therefore I have couple of questions around c02 gas regulators and canisters.
Are C02 regulators and canisters for kegerators universal or is there a European standard that is different to say the US or Oz? If so then it means I will have to pick up a new regulator.
Secondly how do you get refills in the UK? My local home brew shop here in Melbourne has a simple swap and go system. Do home brew shops do that here or is it a bot more complex in the UK
The canister holds 2.64kg of c02, I can add a photo of the regulator and canister if needed
Thanks
Neil
