Go into Beeriff down the marina and ask there. Whilst you are there you could pick up a few takeaways
What a brilliant idea to go and ask the local micro breweries.... my local home brew shop wants £49 for a 25kg sack, not likely!

Hi Leon103 I most certainly will thank you. I'm always up for trying new beers.Go into Beeriff down the marina and ask there. Whilst you are there you could pick up a few takeaways
I found maris otter cheaper from Worcester Hop Shop with delivery than my local. Their website has recently gone to hell, though. It's a shambles and like a plan to make them go bust on purpose.
You still get discount on purchasing but doesn't apply to delivery though from what I've seen across online sites they are the most competitive pricewise as your allowed up to 30kg and they do have a great customer service. My choice of supplier. The Homebrew Company look very competitive for 25kg delivered, have a big range, and you get 5% forum discount (or at least you used to).
I pay about £40 for Weyermann malt. No issues paying it as I feel its a better product for what I enjoy brewing, which is mostly German Pils, Helles and Kolsch. What a brilliant idea to go and ask the local micro breweries.... my local home brew shop wants £49 for a 25kg sack, not likely!

Have to be I'm afraid.... every bill has increased this year but there is/was no increase in my income. The £49 sack of grain I mentioned earlier was only for pale malt.I think though that at heart EVERY HBer is by circumstance or design a tight git
That's a bit steep.Have to be I'm afraid.... every bill has increased this year but there is/was no increase in my income. The £49 sack of grain I mentioned earlier was only for pale malt.
Hi Tommos,
I was working in Llansamlett until recently and quite a few guy’s said how friendly Boss Brewing are, very broadly opposite Tesco’s near Eurocarparts, so it may be worth calling in with a friendly smile!
Pob lwc
Is that the speyside brewery? Was told my local brewery to bare them in mind when sourcing grain and hops. I'm assuming it's because they'd do it cheaper rather than trying to turn a tiny profit.
Indeed it is.Is that the speyside brewery?
