Whens the inaugural brew then? and whats on the menu?? have a ball with it and take a few snaps for the brewday report too ;)
Will do bud.

Planning a nice, hoppy, low carb grisette type thingy (the recipe is more of a cut back Saison though). Hopped with a nice bit of mandarina Bavaria and hallertau blanc at flame out (bittered with magnum to just over 18 IBUs) with a fairly low target OG of just 1.030 for a tiny grain bill, but using BE 134 Belgian Saison yeast and amylase enzyme in secondary (brut ipa style) in secondary (unless the FG hits 1.000 from primary, in which case I'll skip the enzyme) to bring the carbs right down, so aiming for an ABV around the 4% mark.

My goal is to produce something super crisp and dry, with a good bit of sparkle in it, to quench thirst on these hot summer days, whilst also getting used to this new setup.

I'll pop up some properly detailed info once I put up a brew day post for it.

The new bolts arrived this morning, so slapped them on. Perfect (ish, I wouldn't want to use it without a bag....) fit now.

Just want to run it through the dishwasher now (without any detergent) to make sure it's free of any manufacturing oils etc (it niffs quite a bit of hydrocarbons). The boiler will be getting another good swish out before I use it at the weekend too.

New false bottom finally arrived from Powell Brewing. Very heavy and well made for sure:-

The gasket (comes with) is the rigid tubing used for beer line I believe. Need to switch out the legs (which are made up of M8 hex headed 304 stainless bolts) though, not even a full 4cm clearance under there means it's resting on the nuts for my taps on one side, whilst leaning over and resting on the "legs" on the other side... lol So I have some 316 stainless M8 70mm bolts on order to replace them with.

Other than the legs been too short for my needs though, the fit is spot on.
Same as mine, works a treat for 10 gallon and above batches, but to do a 5 gallon batch the legs are too long in my 100ltr pot,so got some smaller bolts to just change over.Ad that's the airline tube i mentioned round the edge,it will shrink slightly after a few uses,so i might change it for silicone.
And i don't use a bag either works fine once the grain bed is set.

If you have read my brew day thread, you know I ran into problems... So, tweaks made...

First up, changes to the intakes, in the form of bazooka filters fitted. Quite small ones, but will have to do for now, this thing has turned into a money pit already. I also altered the whirlpool fitting, adding a piece of silicone hose. Oh and I inverted the element so that I can clean it more easily (you can see where I struggled to get at it before, need to clean that off now that I can).

I also altered the fittings on the pump, and moved the mini tap off the pump and up onto the return for mashing recirculation. In the case of the alterations the pump, it wasn't sitting right in use. The mini tap is purely a QOL change though, it's easier to get at there. You can also see that BOTH of the outlet taps have male QD connectors on them now, and bazooka filters inside, so if push comes to shove I can attach pump or hose to either of them as needed.
