Ok .... just an aside here, but how do you get 4 cursors on the screen at once?

Nice, easy to use piece of software!

Thanks for the feedback and positive responses, i'm stoked!

Tony > Don't you have 4 x mouses connected to your PC like the rest of us?
That was just an example shot i had showing some of the Tool Tips

ni9e > this should be able to run under Mono in Linux / Mac

Mephistopholes > Style Nazi used for when you select a style from the drop down list, it will show you if you go out of style and suggest
the desired ranges for that style

Have a good weekend

Rob.

It looks pretty straightforward, and funky cartoon & Pastel style GUI, Not sure about the "Style Nazi" though It may offend some people so another name might be appropriate.

Will give it a go over the weekend.

Hey robsan77,

If you would like to use it the traditional way click (by entering grains by weight instead of by percentages of the grain bill)

Settings > Grain Bill Calculation > Grain Weight.

let me know how that goes

Rob.

Still loving this program. a definate keeper.

Style Nazi is a really great idea too.

Big thanks

When you use the program do you always leave the effeciency at 70%???
70% is a good baseline figure to start with. Once you get brewing you'll be able to work out whether you are achieving higher or lower SG's than the estimates provided and can then adjust your efficiency up or down so that the program adjusts your grain bill to suit your efficiency. Or something like that. Basically, go with it and worry about that and a multitude of other tweaks (like water additions) another day. :)

Hey Guys,

I've just uploaded the BrewMate version (V1.00) for you to have a look at

http://www.brewmate.net/release//BrewMateSetup.exe

Enhancements

* Added US Internationalization

Full Support for Gallons (G), Fahrenheit (*F), Ounces (oz) & Pounds (lb) throughout the program.

NOTE to existing users, your settings will not be overwritten by this (or any future updates)

Cheers Rob.

Hi Rob. I have enjoyed using brewmate for awhile now but noticed recently there was an update on your website. I immediately downloaded it and installed. unfortunately it now seems to have broken down. the program wont start at all. has anyone else reported this problem.

i didnt uninstall the first version. should i have done that first?

Hey Mephistopholes,

There should be no need to uninstall the previous version.

Are you able to take a screenshot and/or copy and paste the error message and email it thru to me ([email protected])

I will try my best to get to the bottom of this for you!

Rob.

no worries, i'll do it when i get home. i'm pretty sure it says something like "brewmate has failed to initialise. Would you like windows to search for a solution?"
I'll double check and post that screenshot though.
