60.00 gm Bobek [5.00 %] (15 min) Hops 7.3 IBU

on a serious note i've got a few photos of the event.

Vossy, i've given Wez some extra bottles of hedgehog for you to try when you next visit him.... so if he's not got any left.... BLAME HIM!!! :lol:

the chiller is in, but i think we deviated from the planned aroma hops. we went for 28g of fuggles on my reccomendations

Here's the vital stats for the day.....

We ended up with several litres of wort, which definitely had some sort of gravity :drunk: :thumb:

Brewstew and Smod survived despite thinking they were coming to meet up with mad axe murderer :evil:

the morning started swimmingly and wez already had the liquor tank up to temp when Smod and I arrived

after some gentle persuasion on my part, we tucked into some beers at around 11am and talked and listened, but mostly listened ... the first runnings went smoothly

apart from some plonker leaving a tap slightly open :lol:

i thought we collected a decent amount, but wez seems a little uncertain... though i wasn't really paying attention as i was admiring Wez's big sack of hops

after some weighing and deciding upon what aroma hops to use, the boil went swimmingly, and a tip about leaving the lid on till the boil started seemed to get it going quicker than normal

Wez put me on clean up duty while he was doing the "head brewer" stuff and supervising from behind his glass of beer

smod took a grave view of Wez's last runnings :lol:

but wez believed in the beer gods and bowed down to their holyness :lol:

and when Wez weren't looking, Smod attempted to make off with the collected wort :lol:

but not before wez showed us what his thoughts of smod's kit beer were

all in all, a pretty fun day! cheers Wez :thumb:
