Help!

I'm currently brewing a London Pride clone from Wheelers book.

Somehow, I had to stop sparging way short of my target volume. I was hoping to collect 32 litres of wort but had to stop at 27 litres!

Should I still use the same amount of hops?

Have I wasted my morning?

you need to check what your pre boil gravity is, and for a 90min boil you will probably end up with 21L, if your SG at that point is higher than planned you can add some cooled boiled water to liquor back.

having said all that I wouldn't alter the hops, and if it comes to the worst you'll have a beer that is a bit more bitter than planned, but I'm sure a very nice one too.

It's just a matter of getting used to your system and adjusting your recipes to suit, nothing to worry about

good luck with it
