Sorry guys one last question. I might be being stupid but how do you take the base of the boiler off to replace the fuse etc. I want to know so that if it blows during a rolling boil I can replace it. The bottom has 1 screw and that's it but it does not want to come off. There is another screw at the side that seems to be holding the power lead steady. Granted I have not taken a crow bar to it yet because I thought I would ask you knowledgeable lot. If you could help me out that would be great. Also the one screw on the top just spins now and seems to be on a spring. This is the new style 40 litre boiler with the different hole for the tap.Don't know if that helps. I'm probably being stupid but I don't want to break it just yet. Thanks in advance.
