Evening all my second beer kit is just about to get ready for bottling in the next few days.
On the first attempt I racked into a keg containing the priming sugar for batch priming and put the lid back on to prevent oxidation. I attached a bottle wand to the tap began filling the bottles. The first 500ml bottle took an absolute age to fill. As there was no pressure in the keg I had to unscrew the top to have a better flow rate to fill the bottles.
Am I causing harm to the beer in doing this or am I missing a trick somewhere?
Thanks
