Bitter taste

hi all
I’m just finishing my first larger kit it’s a Wilko light. So fg 1006 which I’m happy with. So obviously had a sneaky taste it had a slight bitter taste. So I was wondering if this is normal with a larger. Ive only done ale’s before

I would judge it after 2-3 weeks minimum. Things like this are sometimes present early and drop out given a little time.

Lager takes a bit longer to condition than ale, so even though it'll probably say "ready in 21 days" on the tin, give it another few weeks and it'll come good.

I did a wilko lager couple months ago and it's never tasted right... From the early sneaky tastes right up to bottle I opened today... Still got a weird off taste to it...

Cooper's lager no problem. Not sure what the deal is with the wilko one.
