Hi all,
My name is Jeff and i am about to embark on the home brew way. I have never done it before and know nothing of it. Very willing to learn, and am about to buy my first starter kit. I want to brew ale so any recommendations on best (and easiest) kit to start me off would be most welcome...

if you have no gear then wilkinsons is worth a visit, a fermenter, a wherry kit, a hyrdrometer and measuring cylinder, a paddle and some syphon tube and tap is not a bad start, 2 litres pop bottles can be used before you get bottles and kegs etc.

Wine fermenters are good for 5 gallon brews, you can also insert an airlock in the lid to keep possible infections at bay.
