Who's got the best price for AJ at the moment?

Locally I've got Aldi and Lidl - anyone been in recently?

Aldi are about 85p if I remember rightly.

For the "from concentrate" stuff? That seems steep... Tesco are about 60p I think..

I love that shop! Cheap and cheerful, especially when someone let's off one of those giant champagne bottle party poppers in the store. Had to change my underwear afterwards as the muppet was standing behind me when he did it!

Lidl are generally pretty cheap, but locally Morrison's sometimes have them beat

Morrison's cheapo apple concentrate makes a perfectly drinkable TC. think its only 60p a ltr

Just as a wee side, I have 2 batches of TC about 7 months old. They are both bottled and used GAs recipe. The only difference is one is with LIDL and the other is with morrisons. The first obvious difference is that the LIDL one is lighter in colour but I will do a taste test in a few weeks time and let you know.

I got mine from a cash and carry. 12l for a fiver 'euro shopper' branded

Lidl does 1l apple juice for 62p, I think tesco does the same. It seems to be more expensive if you buy the four that are wrapped in plastic together in Tesco, around 82p per litre, and also the "XL" juice cartons in Lidl are more expensive per litre, strangely. If you see special offers anywhere then stock up!
