I don't see why, pretty sure i must have used a few of mine 10x. I tend not to use the ones with the bottom taps on them as I use a Party Star dispenser.

Interested to know your cleaning/sanitising regime - I never managed more than 5 uses before the lining split.

Nothing more than a bit of warm water, shake vigorously for a minute or so, stick in a bottle brush that I have bent to shape, swirl that around a few times, empty and warm water rinse and shake again. I'll then put a very diluted mixture of an oxy product and leave it in there for a while. When I come to use it, a starsan or similar. It does say that you can also stick them in an over at 80 degrees to sanitise but i've not done that.
My mate has built an outdoor jig for his that holds 6 at a time and he jet washes the inside of his on a lower pressure jet. Works well.

That’s pretty much the same regime I had. I even stopped using my bottle brush in the end and let the Oxy work it’s magic, and just used tubing instead of my bottling wand because I was worried they were the cause. Maybe the quality has improved greatly over the last year/year and a half.

It takes me about 30-45mins for a bottling day. I appreciate that by using the dishwasher for sanitising whilst I eat my tea I’m cutting some time off, but even when I didn’t have a dishwasher it didn’t take anywhere near couple of hours. Starsan in a bottle rinser and bottling tree was only a 15min job.
Hey @MickDundee , what temperature do you run your dishwasher on? Also, is that for just glass or for PET bottles too?

hi mate i like your idea of casks could you give me details of how you made them.
thanks.
Just buy the cubes with taps if you are just going to use them as a cask a threaded barb in the top of the cube either in the cap or the main body and another for securing a gauge.
