I remember reading up on MAME builds , I liked the idea of being able to play things like street fighter etc and some of the 32x stuff, do you think you will get your build underway soon?

I have a working controller at the moment but the PC I was using for testing needs to go to my kids as theirs has just stopped working, I have 5/6 PC's under my desk in various states of notworkingness (new word) I really need to pull my finger out and get them sorted!

Actual cab will not happen till I buy a house now :(

I'd be interested to see how you gp about building it, are you following any kind of guide, or wingin' it?

Well I managed to get this far last time:

More info there than I know what to do with!

I still have my ps2, ps1, magadrive and ZX Spectrum (the special edition James Bond one) haven't played on them in a few years but think they still work ok. I miss loading games up for 5 mins before you could play. It really built up the suspense!

Hi, i've been playing games now for about 28 years now, and still love it, i have most of my systems on emulation, as i don't have space for all the old stuff, i have bought a good few games too on the Wii's virtual arcade, and a boatload from xbox live arcade, ai also have a mame setup too with about 22000 games on it.

I'm using an old xbox with 250gig drive in for all my retro stuff, but tend to use the 360 for most gaming.

By the way, if anyone wants to add me as a friend on xbox live, my tag is falafael
Specify your name on here if you do!
Thanks

I still find myself talking about the ZX+2 James Bond pack (one with the light gun etc). I remember the day I got it like it was yesterday and I remember me and my Dad having HOURS of fun playing it.

The spectrum really set the standard "back in the day". Very fond memories.

I don't think I could list the collection I have, certainly not off the top of my head, but I have around 3 of each console all in varying conditions. I have at least 1 "for use" and 1 "boxed and mint" version of each, including the +2 james bond pack spectrum (boxed with gun, tapes etc, all mint).

I went through a crazy spell in the early 2000's where I bought just about everything console/spectrum/amiga related that I could get my hands on lol.

Looking good, maybe just maybe I will give one of these a go myself when I get my brewhouse/gym built in the garden ... That's a long way off though. Had a look at a few bits online, didn't realise just how expensive the control pad bits are for those things. Sure it will be good fun once it's up and running !

I'm a massive nintendo fan mario kart on the snes is my favourite game of all time.

Yeah, that. Spectrum wise, I've got a 16k, 2x48k rubber keys, 2x48k+, +2, +2a, +3 (just missing the +128). I've also got both the sinclair interfaces, microdrives and printer. I've also got a couple of C64s, a C16, & a C16+4.

Well the flash cart was waiting for me when I got back from work yesterday, got it set up and tested out some N64 games, brilliant! all my old titles that are in the loft somewhere in various boxes, are now on one SD card. :thumb:
