I built my pc back in 2012 but have upgraded a couple of parts since. I upgraded to 16gb Corsair RAM in 2016 along with getting a GTX 980 just after the 1080 came out (got it pretty cheap). The 980 will be good for a few years I reckon. I've got an i7 ivy bridge, Maximus V gene mobile, a tiny case it's all shoved into.

I think the most modern game I've played on this setup is Warhammer Total War and it works fine with everything on smooth. What I'd really like to do is learn neural nets to make the most of my graphics processing.
