I hate this government, I hate it because of the way it has abandoned us, the way it has sold us away to all and everyone. But most of all, I hate it because of how the honest worker now sees and understands what it means to be labour. labour with a small 'l'

Christ almighty. Anyone seen a banker begging on the streets? There's plenty of the rest of us there with our hands held out, all that we had taken away from us.

Will there be a labout government after the election? Will there f'ck.


Thankfully.

If the blues win 80% of the government will be millionaires - only fools and horse's i think not!

Hopefully that will mean they know what the country needs to make a few bob.
I'd sooner have that than a bunch of over promoted trade union trots who only know how to shout 'all out' and blame every woe on t'management; or champagne socialists who want us all to be poor apart from them of course.

Trying to stay out of this, but I would like to see a vote for reason and democracy . . . and suspect the only party that can provide that at the moment is The Monster Raving Loony Party . . . Whatever party that gets voted in at the next election, won’t be able to save this country from going down the pan. The only hope that my children have of any sort of future in this country, is that one day ill win the lottery, then die and leave them my winnings. Im sorry but I remember the time when this county was know as GREAT BRITAIN, now it just know as BRITAIN.

its still called Great Britain just we no longer know it as such as we use UK on everything
take a look at this to help understand the difference and why we get it mixed up

also as both wales and scotland are possitionng themselfs for indipendants ( not that it will happen in our life times) thats why great gets droped mostly its England Scotland and Wales that make it Great Britain, England and Wales are Britain from the Romans . we are now know as UK as I dont think the world liked us to be called great.

And as everyone probably already knows, we were once the British Empire but Victoria was the last Empress. After that we were still a Kingdom for a while but George VI was the last King. Now we're just a Country and we've got Brown and Darling at the helm.

no we lost the Great Britain when Irland voted to join and we became united kingdom and as the North hasn't gone we cant use Great Bitain , unless they do

was wrong about using Great britain just occoured to me we still use it
its what we enter the olympic, comemwelth and world games. Great Britain cyclying team the best by far of our representavies, and the Union Flag ( only a Jack at sea) is for both GB and UK ( makes no sense though).
But what really bugs me is the F'ing National anthem
why can Scotland and Wales use a different one in the Rugby but we got to stick to god save the queen for England its the same anthem for all the UK .
if scotland can have flower of scotland for thier anthem why cant we have land of hope and glory as ours it represnts us much better than that dirge god save the queen/king crap they make us sing.
and to bring it back to the darling buds of crap
did you see they trying to hijack the budget and hide the VAT rate for next term pledges( as if they get another term)
also if you dont get sunday Telegraph their is intersing bit about Browns defining moment in 1998 when he let rip and started to increase the national borowing
1997 was a debt of £36 Billion because of the conservites restraint on public spending and after they had got rid of the restrains opposed on them from previouse government he then set about increasing all the gov depts and now we got a debt of £63 Billinon or so more than double. How anyone can say this Government has served this country will be absoultly mad and shown to be too. Facts about this governmet will take years and years to come out but when they do I will prob be proping up the daisys.

land of hope and glory should just be left for those at the last night at the proms I dont wat to our guys crying as they sing the anthem like the Irish and Welsh do, thats just wrong on so many levels.
next we will have jerusalem requested.
would have suggested england by angelic upstarts but too many mistakes in it

Very Very True,Labour have done the same thing every term they have had in, They borrowed billions from the yanks just after the war and it was only paid back in 2003, they uncontrollably flooded the country with immigrants in the 50's and have done it again in the 90's (I might add I have nothing against any immigrants they are just taking advantage of an opportunity given to them, & I would do the same in Australia or New Zealand if I could win the wife round, Brewery would be put in a container & it would be goodbye from me, & I would be ordering from Ross at craft brewer regularly), they nearly broke the country in the seventies with the massive strikes, & they are so full of sh*t, I just don't understand why people keep voting for them, I know the working man thinks the other lot are a toffy nosed bunch of well educated toffs, but at least they don't deny it, they are, however, Toffs generally have a better understanding of how to deal with large amounts of money as they have grown up amongst it, Giving Gordon brown and co charge of Billions is like a 16 year old chav winning the lottery, He's going to have a great time spending it all fast, but no Idea what went wrong when the bank says sorry your skint!

I can understand Labour getting in, Tony blair was riding on the wave of John smith the only guy who I honestly thought was a good politition ( might be wrong there though)
and we did need a change at the time. but they got too long at the whip they should have had one term and then power handed back . they wouldnt have done half of what they did if that happened. Also why did Labour give power to Brown at least the Conservatives had a ballot for John Major( at least he won an election after gaining power, Brown wont)

It was a done and dusted deal before Blair came to power, Tony gets a few years as PM as he is the one with the charisma then Gordon steps in to the Helm, A deal I believe Blair didn't think he would need to follow up, I think he thought I'll let "Gordon play with the Gold coins and he will leave me alone to get world acclaim". However the person who was really dictating the labour party was Gordon, by holding the purse strings in the treasury, do as Gordon wanted and money became available for you and your dept, Fall out with Gordon and No money for you or your dept, MO Molam, Sheila (cant remember second name) and a string of other good Labour politicians left the party as a result of this tactic. It is because of GB's megolamania that no one stood against him for PM, as they all knew that if they did, he would ruin them Via the treasury, Its also the reason Blair walked away from British politics, He p*ssed brown off by not letting him to no 10 until he had to therefore if he had carried on in the LP, Gordon would have made sure he did no good, by cutting off the money.

You see The Captain of "Britannia" really is a * "One Eyed Scottish Pirate" * who has stolen all our treasure!!!!!!

I kind of like the new tory tactic of saying they will reverse labour plan to hike the national insurance bills for everyone. that just goes to show at least they will be the party that will help the man in the street not the big earners( as labour prentend to). I remember the torys end of power as a scandle regarding sex and labour is about lining thier pockets ( it was labour policy that allowed the greedy tory mps to fleace them/us )
I know who I would trust

I'm not political but remember after just buying our first house in 1992 the Tory's putting interest rates up to 15% from 7%....now that was really fun working seven days a week and struggling .
I've now got a bigger mortgage and three kids, so thinks I'll give the conservatives a miss

If This lot stay in much longer, 15% interest rates will be the least of your worries, they will bankrupt the country without fail.
