The packet claims 14% in 48 hours but in my experience it takes longer, even if the temperature is exactly I the range it says on the pack. And for the 20% version, it can take a couple of weeks rather than the week suggested. What's everyone else's experience with this yeast? How long does yours take?

I brewed mine at 8kg sugar and it took 12 days to reach a whopping 14% even though it was always around 24c. It tastes ok though. Gives you that warm belly feeling. Not sure I want to try another but im popping to my friends deli to pick up some ingredients for it this aftrrnoon (I prefer shopping when the shops closed) for the cost though its definately worth a try and ill have enough shots for all the parties of 2014 lol

tried the 24hr one and it took about 48hr but the temp wasn't spot on. Didn't clear very well, and tbh it was a very harsh after i urm increased the alcohol content magically.
