Brewer
Don't forget a thermometer, hydrometer, refactometer (maybe), weighing scales and a large jug.

I have an all in one system, which are not all in one by the way, on average from heating the water for mashing, to putting the cooled wort into the fermenter takes 5 hours, all grain isn’t quick.preferences: none really, just don't want something that's untidy. I don't want a heater as i'll be brewing in the garage.
Budget: nothing particularly set, happy to spend what's necessary, but always like a bargain so i'm not against buying used. No point spending £10,000 for something that can be done with £1,000
Time: this one's limited. Really couldn't spend a whole day brewing even at weekends. So few hours at a time? I work from home, so can work around a brew to a certain extent.
What else is there to do? You'll have to stay with it... there's timings to do,hops to add, protofloc, chiller, boil overs, general being in charge duties, cleaning as you go,getting the fv ready...oh I don't mind the time it takes - as long as I'm not standing staring at it for 5 hours.
For me when I start watching it is going to be part of learning about it. And I will use my garage which always needs tidying so can do that the same timeI don't mind staying with it, but didn't think i'd need to be watching it for 5 hours, i.e. thought some phases were a case of leaving it to do it's work for a period of time.
