Just been in our local nursery that has a little home brew section. I went to get some US-05 but they didn't have any but they did have this yeast so I got one.

I plan to to use it tomorrow on a SMaSH, either Citra or Cascade. DIY you rehydrate it? If so with how much water and at what temperature?

Its the first time ive used it, but I asked Mangrove about rehydrating it, and they said its ok to just pitch from the packet.
I pitched at 22c

Thanks AC. I like the sound of your recipe, I'm adding it to my to do list :thumb:

I notice you do your chilling outside - have you ever had a problem with contamination of the nice cool wort?

I've not had any in the 15 brews I've done. I do use a lid on top when chilling.
It rained during me doing this. I just use a plastic sheet to keep it safe :)

Congratulations! :hat:
I have a competition upcoming - hope I can do as well.

Well done, congrats.

Good pics as well, thank you.

Do you think the yeast is a lot different from US-05?

Cheers
