sounds good, most of my brews are still a little cloudy when I bottle its just some of the yeast in suspension and normally drops out when the bottle conditions, sometimes a day or two, sometimes longer or never

:drink: bet you can`t wait for the first pint though

Here it is the fruits of your Labours :thumb: . 28 pints of my 1st AG brew all safely bottled.

 Well done! If your anything like me (impatient and always thirsty ;) you`ll be sampling a bottle just to check on how its conditioning in about five days
Seems like quite a lot of sugar for priming - i use a scant half teaspoon per pint bottle, not sure what that would be in weight though :hmm: It`ll be a great pint i`m sure

The plan is to sample a bottle Friday night before they go in the conditioning cupboard Saturday :D

I read somewhere on here that someone uses 8g per oooh hang on now was it 8g per bottle or 8g per ltr bugger hang on....................................... Sod it just weighed 1/2 teaspoon of sugar 3g. Bet it was 8g per ltr. Oh bugger this could turn out megga fizzy

Hope you like it fizzy Rick one of those 4 1/2 pint bottles has your name on it :D

great I look forward to it - if its a little highly carbonated chill a little and pour into a large jug and let it fizz for a minute then pour into a glass and knock out some fizz with a pocket beer engine ;)

 Pocket beer engine = small plastic syringe  , pull up some beer and air and knock it back into the pint and it will knock some co2 out giving you a good head and reducing any fizziness - be carefull though or it will be like a volcanic explosion!

I just can't help thinking that wandering around my village brandishing a pocket syringe and muttering about crystal may leave a bad impression!

Quick update. Somehow one of the small sample bottles managed to find its way into the fridge today. So I know its only 27 days old (14 days in an FV, 7 days in the warm corner and 6 days in the conditioning cupboard) but I feel the need for a little Quality Controll. Nice hiss when opened, nice aroma, no quite cleared yet, nice honey taste a little malty chocolate under tone so not too bad at all should turn out quit nice.
