I accidentally added a pack of champagne yeast to my IPA instead of my ale yeast. I hear champagne yeast cannot convert maltose, but will also kill any additional beer yeasts I pitch. Unfortunately, my beer was 10 parts malt to 3 brewing sugar so I'm in a bit of a bind.

I'm have no idea what to do and was hoping someone has an idea that might be of some use.

Also, I have no access to Convertase AG 300, which would have been the easiest solution.

if you have the capacity to boil it, that should kill off the yeast and not affect the brew in any way. just make sure it's cool before you go!
