Hello fellow brewers.
I have been brewing for the last six months after a 25 year lay-off (marriage, divorce, kids etc) and whilst 'only' using malt kits I am really enjoying my 'new' hobby!
I have so far made Milestone's Lions Pride(drunk), Woodforde's Nog(drunk), Young's Barley Wine(drinking), Young's Pear Cider(drinking), Munton's Irish Stout(drunk), three fruit wines(drinking), Munton's Gold Continental Pilsner(conditioning), Magnum Pear Cider(conditioning), Magnum Strawberry Cider(conditioning) and Better Brew Indian Pale Ale(fermenting)!
I am also planning to brew a Ritchie's Raspberry and Lime Cider, two Scottish Export Ales and a Young's Mild :drink:

Happy Brewing!!

p.s. I will be after some tips if I decide to try some grain brewing ;)

Welcome to the forum Mark... :thumb:

Looks like your on your way to AG anyway...

Thanks mate, I think AG just needs a bit more thought, equipment and SPACE! :D

Happy Brewing!

Hi Mark
Not too far from me in the 'Stow, then! If you check my intro, you'll read that I've gone into AG at a pretty basic level, but with encouraging results :) Living in a cramped London flat, space is at a premium, but I still managed to shoehorn my brewing kit in, plus find storage space for grains, etc. By moving stuff about a bit, I made space where there'd been none before!!
I call it The Packer Way Brewery - not because I live in Packer Way, but 'cos, when I've finished, I have to, errr, pack away
Anyway, happy brewing!

Hi again All
Well, this looks promising - with Mark and Steve in Chigwell, and me not far away in Walthamstow, someone might open a local HBS!!
Oh, and cheers Diesel Jockey - atrocious puns won't get me drummed off the Forum, then??

Yes it would be nice if there was a HBS a little closer than Romford!
