Sponge said:Hi DX4100,
I'm like you in that I have just started brewing, and put my 2nd kit on at the weekend. I bought myself a Coopers Microbrewery which is a slightly modified version of the one in your link (what I can gather the only difference is that it has a slightly different fermentor).
The 1st batch I made with this was a Coopers Aussie lager and for a first go I was very pleased. I used the plastic PET bottles and the Coopers Carbonation drops that came with the kit and it worked out great. To sterelise my bottles is made up a solution of VWP and then rinsed each bottle a few times with cold water.
I try and buy the kits and stuff from my local homebrew shop but if I do buy online i use this site
http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/
I bought the microbrewery kit from them and they were very quick to deliver and their postage was only £6 to Orkney which I thought was good, one shop in Edinburgh was going to charge me £20 to send the same thing.
All the best.

That is cheap, would you mind telling me where you get brew enhancer from at that price?
Cheers

Why do I need this ? What does it do ?
Dave1970 said:You could maybe add to your list
1. Household Sugar
2. Brewing Sugar (supposed to be easier for the yeast)
3. Brew Enhancer
4. Dried Malt Extract or canned malt extract
Brew Enhancer is just a blend of brewing sugar and dried malt extract
