Herms bay
I'll Die trying.
I am trying to get space in my garage and am moving some equipment due to rationalisation to just one setup. All the kit is from an extremely soft water area so no residue in any equipment.
I have a perfectly working 35l Brewzilla v3, It has the jacket but no cooling coil as I used counter flow chiller (which i'm keeping), to be honest it has dings etc in the wall which I expertly panel beated out as I fell down the step when cleaning it but nothing detrimental.
I have fitted a PID into the base of a 30l Burco water urn. (I am an electrical engineer so this still has all the safety cutouts in tact, earthing and is IP2x etc) This keeps perfect temp to what ever you set it to. I used this for Sparge water and for cooking Sous vide! (oooh get you). The Burco is fitted with a ball valve and a silicone hose to dispense the sparge water into the grain.I have a 27l brew bucket fermenter with a ball valve fitted and lid with gromet. Just enough to get a good brew on. Looking for £150 Very capable brew kit ideal for a beginner or hoarder alike.
I have a corney keg and a tap with fittings you can add for £60 for a full setup if you don't want to bottle
sorry sold elsewhere
I have a used 27l fermzilla with a new PET body, stand pressure kit but no spunding valve (Malt miller-Duotight – BlowTie 2 Spunding Valve/Pressure Relief with Integrated Gauge 0-15psi £8.99) sorry sold, also have the 55l with bottom valve and no pressure kit, no spunding valve, stand or float. I used these interchangeably so only needed 1 stand. The 55l PET was new but now used twice. All in great condition. I used these generally to make pressure fermented Lager but also just ale. £25 Will break to sell one or the other. open to offers by PM or take the lot for £100 ONO will attach pictures if interested as I can't get them out of the garage loft unless someone is interested, as it's a pain
Collection in South Cumbria.
I do have boxes for most of the kit so could possibly send items at your cost.
If anyone is seriously thinking of starting small I have a thermos hamper with filter pipe in the bottom and a lid with a sparge ring in it, my first attempts were using this kit and very successful doing Vorlauf with a jug! you can have that for free if you want to pick it up. (I bought the Burco to go with this and used it to make sparge water and then boil the lot, happy days)
