Mine is very bitter'ish, totally not ready yet after 1 month in the bottles.. i think this will take at least 2 months to settle .. but also keep y'all update'd on this one! Great to hear your's allready nice. I alway's make my brews to bitter so it takes longer to settle i guess ... Cheers...

Great news, it fermented realy fast if you compair to mine :-) .. mine is in bottles now for 10 days, did smell very nice (with the 200gr dry hop)

Ok i wait, i did put some brew allready in plastic bottle so i am going to wait a few days now. If i am lucky the airlock stops also within that time :-D

Tasted the evil dog today, very bitter (since i boiled a lot of high alfa hops for 60 min) but not that fruity again.. 100 gr dry hops seems inefficiënt for a good ipa homebrew.. so i add from now on 10gr/liter .. bulldog kits are great though in comparision to some others .. :-)

Thnx a lot for your answers! The test with the plastic bottle is new to me, i will try it this way! :-) . And the brew was allready fermented (14 days in) , i just added some yeast again to eat the sugars from the 500 gr brew enhancer(i boiled and cooled and added to the brew at much later...

Indeed, when i add 100 gr it doesn't taste that fruity at all! Because i like my brews to be bitter also i just end up with a hint of fruity but very bitter Ipa :-) , glad to hear someone also uses a load of hops, i thought i was the only one here :-D lol

Hey guy's , i brewed the Mangrove Jack's recipe nr 1 ipa kit (almost done) .. i did add 200 gr for starters to my 20 liter brew but when i did the gravity reading and sampled the beer i didn't find it hoppy at all (my pink grapefruit ipa limited also from mangrove jack's was great with 200 gr) ...

I did the mangrove jack's recipe nr1 .. i added 450 gr of hop!!!! No joke! , i tasted it and every time i did i found the taste to be not hoppy at all (that's why this kit is so cheap). I did transfer it allready 2 times to other brewbucket and air rated it ones again when adding 500 gr beer...

Indeed jtc, i do think this is an exlusive good ipa! I think that's why they make it 'limited' , do use loads of dry hop and you will get an ipa like brewdog's elvis juice! Centennial, cascade, amarillo for example are all great hop additions (dry hop) for that great grapefruit note's! Keep us...

Hey Jtc, mine took for ever to drop to 1009 (final gravity) , the airlock wouldn't shut up :-) , i brewed 20 liter instead of the 23 liter and added 1250 gr malt extract/sugar. I boiled 25 gr of mosaic for 60 minutes (+ 45 Ibu) , total of 80 Ibu! I dry hopped after 1 month (it took that long for...

Ok, i'll check now Clint, and in 2 days again 2 be sure.Instructions say end gravity should be 1008, it's 1009 so i guess it's quite close (after almost 4 weeks in the bucket!!) , thnx!

The airlock did almost stop so i added my dry hops 3 days ago (a lot of them :-P), since i have added the hop's it started fermenting again!! Realy strong! Of course i added 200gram to 20 liter so the gas the hops are producing did the airlock activate again and today it is still going quite...

Do use aprox. 2 gr a bottle for bottling .. this will give you very nice foam colar! (33 cl bottle)

Don't worry Jul! You are doing fine! :-) , i bitterhop'd mine with loads of hops to 85 ibu, and added extra 50 gr of hops .. just bottle it in 2 weeks and let it sit 2 weeks in warm place and then 4 weeks in cold place and you will have a really good brew! ;-)

Still fermenting now as we speak, the airlock is going on strong (allready 17 day's now) .. i guess it is because of the 20 liter i brewed instead of the 23 the kit was saying.. anyway i'll keep you guys updated on this limited edition one ;-)

Then i might order this one also :-) .. but for now i have 5 brews going on strong! ;-) .. so that's one for later :-D
