This has been in the Fv for 2 weeks as of tomorrow the Gravity has been stuck at 1.016 for 2 days now is it worth bottling tomorrow or not

I'm two weeks into a bulldog cerveza which is doing the exact same thing, however this morning the airlock was bubbling again, albeit very very slowly. I'm giving it another week to see how it goes. Patience seems to be the rule for this game lol

Took another reading it's still at 1.016 what do I do leave it a 3rd week in Fv?

This is only my third brew so not full of advice, but I'm leaving mine for another week before I check it again

How did these brews end up? I have just racked mine to a Secondary to see if that helped, day 8 is early but it seemed to have [email protected], gonna just sit it out I suppose!

Racked to secondary last night and it started bubbling again, this morning still bubbling, seems like patience is the key with these bulldog kits.

I always rack my beers into a 2ndry after two weeks and leave for another week. It invariably drops a gravity point or two during the 3rd week.

Also brewing this.. good to know i must have some patience :-) . I used 2x 11gr bry-97 yeast for my 23 liter beer. After 1.5 hours fermentation begins! Now 3 days later the airlock keeps on going ;-)

I just bottled mine, it also got stuck at FG 1.016 (OG 1.047) for 3 days in a row after 10 days.

How much sugar did you guys use for bulk priming? I read a couple of post in this forum and I ended up using 120g for 22L in a priming bucket.

Did anyone use a secondary fermentation vessel? I am new to brewing, so I did not want to take the risk of contaminating mine.

Don't worry Jul! You are doing fine! :-) , i bitterhop'd mine with loads of hops to 85 ibu, and added extra 50 gr of hops .. just bottle it in 2 weeks and let it sit 2 weeks in warm place and then 4 weeks in cold place and you will have a really good brew! ;-)

Do use aprox. 2 gr a bottle for bottling .. this will give you very nice foam colar! (33 cl bottle)

120g of sugar should give about the right sort of level for carbonation for your beer.
I and others use this.....

I usually rack my beers off into a secondary, as do many on here. You are extremely unlikely to 'contaminate' your beer if your brewing kit is properly sanitised. It is also beneficial to avoid splashing the beer as you transfer it, but it's not the end of the world if you do so accidently.

Great, thank you @Joski and @terrym. I will update the results in 4 weeks then :)
