    It still gets some gunk on it, but it's less so and it burns to a brown rather than a black if that makes sense

    Bolier Broke mid-brew

    I clean mine every brew too, citric acid and hot water works well. I also cover mine with a SS collander to try stop the bits getting onto the element (I use a tea urn as a boiler so easily done, might be more difficult with Tesco kettle elements)

    Homemade C02 set up.

    I'm no expert, but it looks potentially the making of a bomb to me those plastic kegs swell arlarmingly when I've pressured them up slowly with the hambleton bard type cylinders, I hate to think the effect of being connected to a c02 cylinder , I know you are fitting a preassure relief valve...

    Buffalo boiler

    I've got one too, it works really well. Trouble with this hobby is even though I now have this boiler which works fine as is for BIAB (with a thermostat alteration), I cant stop there. I've already dished out on a ball valve tap, sight tube and am now thinking a fitted temp guage with a big face...
