    What to do with this.

    Its a bit bigger than than it looked in the pic when I bid. Could cut in half if I could get another stainless bottom welded on. Use one to mash and other as a boiler.

    Two brews on saturday as wife out all day. She hates smell of my beer and hops boiling away. Have a good selection of malt and hops. So may brew a bitter or IPA and a darker ale.

    Would it work better with a 15mm pipe inside a 28mm pipe. With more cold water around the inner pipe.

    Have just thrown away my latest AG brew. Was a brown recipe from greg hughes book. Should have ended up at 3.8 ABV. It had a vinegar smell and tasted awfull after being in FV for a week. This is my first failure. Are lower ABV beers more susceptible to infections as all my previous stronger...

    Tried a bottle last night and its great. Nice and flavoursome hoppy and bitter my best brew yet. Its quite dark,probably the chocolate malt. Will have to make a larger batch as I only have 13 bottles left. Your right Clibit it did turn out fantastic.:cheers:

    Its got the maris crystal and wheat. Could not resist chucking in the choc. And the hops were just hanging around so chucked in a few more that the recipe. Cant resist a tweak. Just hope its ok when conditioned.If a tad bitter.

    Bottled tonite. Finished fermenting almost clear. Only had 1200gms of maris. Also added 140gms of crystal and 140gms wheat and 20gms chocolate. Mashed with 5.5 litres and sparged/rinsed with 5litres.Ended up with 7.5 litres after boil.Also added lots of hops. 15gms simcoe 60mins. 7gms challenger...
