    Looks the business that does good sir!!! I've got a coopers english bitter in the FV (6th day) made it with the coopers liquid malt, it's looking lovely and dark, so I will be delighted if it turns out as good looking as your dark ale!!! :drink: :drink:

    After taking advice from the forum last year I know leave all my beers for around 10 days in the FV before bottling. However I have started to get my stuff from a new HB shop and the bloke there says never leave it more than 7 days in the FV!!! so bit confused, could do with an update from you...

    I have had a lager in the Barrel for around 5 weeks now and it's still cloudy, I ran off a little sample, it tastes great, has loads of life in it, but its still cloudy, I made the lager with enhancer & used finings yet its still cloudy, is this normal..if so I long can I expect to wait for it...

    Forgot to mention regarding using a syphon to extract beer from my bottles that we have been bottling in 2 litre plastic mineral bottles! people say you shouldn't use them but so far the beer out of every bottle has been fantastic, I dont know what you all think but they have worked well for us...
