    I am new to brewing and I am a complete amateur and it may be normal but I started brewing the Geordie winter warmer kit on Saturday and when I've checked 2day there is some sort of brown skin on the top of my fermenter. Is this normal or something I should be worried about??

    Yeah my larger is in a cool place...the downstairs loo lol Gonna give an ale a try next after your advice and leave the pilsner till late autumn/winter

    Hi I am new to brewing and only have my 1st batch of larger in a pressure keg waiting to be drank! I am looking to move onto a pilsner next and wondered if anyone could recommend a good kit to use? One that is good for a beginner Thanks
