If i was you i would go for the twin 2kw element boiler. If you are going to make your own. But if you decide to get a Burco, they are usualy 3kw single element, all you will need to do is bypass the thermostat and it will work a treat. HLT (Hot Liquor Tank) - used for heating water used for...

    Balanceing a corni tap.

Mick mate, the first time i pulled a pint from a cornie it came out the same. Dont worry mate you will get the hang of it. Untill i increased the pipe length and connected it to a chiller i couldnt pull a decent pint to save my life.

    grape juice concentrate - substitution?

As far as im aware the only substute for grape concentrate is rasins. Then i think it about 1lb of rasins = 1/2 pint of concentrate. But im sure Moley or Sam will come along soon and prove me wrong.

    Is a demijon necessary....

Take a hydrmeter reading again now its cooled down to room temperature and see what it is. If it still low make up a suar solution add it in stages to the DJ. Give it a good stir between stages and keep taking a hydrometer reading untill you get your desired OG.
